Dr. Muhamad Aly Rifai is a Syrian American internist and psychiatrist and a clinician researcher known for describing the association between psychiatric disorders and hepatitis C. Dr. Rifai was recently acquitted on charges involving four cases of Medicare fraud, including billing one patient in two different hospitals at the same time and billing deceased patients.
